Project Volta, a development focused group in the Volta Region, on Tuesday presented a kente cloth and a citation to Mr Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo, outgoing Volta Regional Minister for his dedicated service to the Region.

The citation described Mr Afotey-Agbo as kind-hearted, approachable and understanding and as a true leader who was always available to solve problems.

Mr Afotey-Agbo expressed gratitude to the group for the recognition and said though he was leaving the region, he remained committed to its development.

Togbe Goba Tengey Seddoh, Chairman of the group, said in the past 12 months, the group had been working towards the construction of a sports stadium and working to improve agriculture and education in the Region.
