Berekum municipality will now enjoy the efficient services of the Ghana Ambulance service at their doorsteps as the Municipal Chief Executive; Opoku Boakye Yiadom has held a programme to commission a new ambulance for them.

The ambulance would among other things help manage emergencies cases.

The MCE, during the commissioning programme advised the ambulance service team to manage the facility as if it were theirs and adopt a maintenance culture.

The Head of the Ambulance team said although the ambulance would be made accessible 24-hours, its services within Berekum would be free but added that referral cases outside Berekum would attract a fee.
