The Volta River Authority (VRA) has presented an amount of GHȼ 5,000 to the chiefs and people of the Manya Krobo Traditional area towards the celebration of  this year’s Ngmayem festival.

The amount is the Authority’s modest contribution towards the celebration of the festival in the Manya Krobo area

Mr Samuel deGraft-Johnson, Information and Communication Officer of the VRA, who represented the Authority at the durbar,  stated that, the VRA is liaising with the district education office in the Manya Krobo District to present 20,000 exercise books to assist in the promotion of quality education for the children  in the area.

He assured that the VRA would continue to engage all its stakeholders to build a sustainable partnership for their mutual benefit.

He said the Authority would continue promoting the development of the area by fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.
