Below is a brief profile of the newly nominated Municipal Chief Executive for the Berekum Municipal Assembly.

Mr. Opoku Yiadom-Boakye aka Agidas was born on October 10 1965. He had his O levels at the Berekum Secondary School and Dormaa Secondary School. He received his A levels at the Tema Secondary School in the 80s.

He has a diploma in education, Bsc in Botany and MPhil in Botany all from the University of Cape Coast.

He has attended several professional development trainings and workshops such as
