School authorities of the Bokankye basic school in the Atwima-Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region have received keys to a 6-unit classroom block.

The facility which was financed from the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) was estimated at GH¢117,987.25.

The District Chief Executive who handed over the keys observed that the facility would enhance the right atmosphere for teaching and learning.

He said the assembly would ensure more of such structures are established across the municipality adding that the school would very soon also benefit from the school feeding programme.

The Assembly man for the Area, Asabere Yeboah on his part urged parents to make their wards education a top priority.
