The MCE for Bekwai Noah Maanu has lauded the construction of the new Bekwai hospital by the Mills administration describing it as fulfillment of a campaign promise by the current administration.

In a rather enthusiastic mood the the MCE observed that all government after former President Busia have neglected the hospital though it was promised the people in almost all campaigns in the country.

He said the project is dear to the people of Bekawi since it will gratly reduced the health infrastracture challenges facing the indigens of the district.

He observed that the only government hospital in the district is always undre pressure  since it’s the only  public health facility and affordable enough for the residents.

He added that the assembly has set aside a specific day for communal labour for the entire community and intends to use the opportunity to concientise the people on health hazards.
