DCE For Mamprusi East Assured UDS Students.

 
The District Chief Executive for East Mamprusi, Adam Imoro has assured authorities and students of the University for Development Studies (UDS) of his support for the students who are undertaking the Trimester Field Practical as part of the academic exercise of the University.

The District Chief Executive for East Mamprusi, Adam Imoro has assured authorities and students of the University for Development Studies (UDS) of his support for the students who are undertaking the Trimester Field Practical as part of the academic exercise of the University.
 
According to him, students who embark on these academic exercises face several problems especially, in the area of accommodation and the social-cultural activities in their various communities.

He assured them that his district will give its full support for those who are already on the field in his district.

Hon. Imoro Adam who is a member of the Alumina Association of the University gave the assurance at a dinner night organised by the association to climax the second National Congress which was held in Tamale.

The DCE further assured that he will liaise with other DCEs to engage graduates of other university to help developed various districts especially the planning units of the assemblies.

The political overlord of the district made a passionate appeal to the University authorities to invite the various districts assemblies to be part of their outreach programmes.

He noted that, his district over the years has enjoyed absolute peace and urged the third trimester field practical students to observe the customs and traditions of the people in the East Mamprusi.  

He commended the people of the area for maintaining the peace in the district and assured them of government’s commitment in developing the area.

He applauded the authorities of the field programme, adding that it will enable the students to acquaint themselves with the communities they would be serving after the school. 

He called on the school leadership to strengthen their programmes to help bridge the developmental gap between the south and the north.

The DCE invited investors in the country to visit the tourism attraction of the district in order to explore the tourism potentials to boost the socio-economic development of the area.
