The District Chief Executive for Zabzugu/Tatale, Mr. Umar Abdul Wahab, has commissioned a GHc143,000 six unit classroom block for the  Moncheni community.

The facility which also complised auxiliary facilities as office, toilet and urinal was funded through the the Ghana Education trust Fund (GETFund).

At the commissioning ceremony, the DCE noted that the President Mills led government will not renege on its promisses of improving the living standards of the Ghanaian people. 

He added that investing in people and inproving infrastructure for economic boost, especially roads will continue to be given priority by the government, adding that government was aware of the poor state of roads in the district and those linking the district to other districts in the region.

Mr.Wahab said plans were underway to improve all these roads especially those leading to farm areas to make transportation of farm produce easier.

He said construction of educational and health infrastructure in most of the remote areas in the district atest to governments preparedness to ensure that everybody is taken care of as a caring government and called on those who are yet to benefit from such developmental projects to have patience since they will not be left out.
