The Dormaa Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Hon, Vincent Oppong Asamoah, has begun touring communities under his jurisdiction to acquaint himself with the problems facing the people and the steps needed to address them.

So far he has covered Kwanta, Beposo, Abusuapadee, Mmerenga, Mosikrom, Dormaa-Agogo, Kwadwokumikrom, Addokrom, Kokorasua and Asikasu Number Two.

In all the communities visited, the chiefs and people held durbars to welcome him and his entourage which comprised heads of departments.

Mr. Asamoah thanked the communities for restoring NDC to power and assured them of government’s readiness to improve their standard of living.

He stressed the need for the people to contribute their quota through strict compliance to basic communal rules and bye-laws of the Municipal Assembly.

The communities requested for amenities including potable water, electricity, classroom blocks, good roads and places of convenience.

They appealed to the MCE to make his office accessible to all irrespective of party inclination to make President Mills’ dream of “being a father to the nation” a reality.
