The people of Axim in the Nzema East District of the Western region are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a successful celebration of their annual Kundum festival on September 13.

To this end, the Catherine Afeku Fan Club made up of youth in Eavlue-Gwira constituency earmarked on a four hour clean-up exercise at Axim Government Hospital and donated assorted food items to the children’s ward.

Presenting the gift, Frank Okpyen, Spokesperson for the club said the donation was to help enhance the standard of living of the kids at the ward and pldged the club’s continued assistance to the hospital.

Medical Assistant at the hospital,Thomas Kwesi Addae who received the donation thanked the group for the kind gesture and appealed to other societies to come and assist the hospital particularly the children’s ward.
