Kwahu East DCE Rallies Support for Gov’t

The District Chief Executive for Kwahu East, Samuel Asamoah, has called on Ghanaians to rally behind the government as it implements measures aimed at improving the lives of ordinary citizens.

He described the recent appreciation of the Ghana cedi, reductions in fuel prices, and adjustments in transport fares as indications of the government’s commitment to improving the economy and enhancing the living conditions of the people.

He said: “The dollar was around GHs 17 before the election, but it’s now around GHs 10, which shows that the country is on a path to recovery.”

“The decline in the dollar rate has positively impacted trade, making goods and services more affordable”, he added.

He further noted that the prices of goods and services have seen a significant decline due to the stabilization of the cedi and other transformational policies by the John Mahama-administration.

The DCE is therefore urging all citizens to support the government as it strengthens efforts to improve the standard of living
