On his behalf, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Rev. Martin Amenaki, on Tuesday presented 50 brand-new laptop computers to Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School.

The laptops are expected to enhance ICT practical lessons and ease students’ preparation for the upcoming examinations.

Additionally, the MP has secured 10 laptops from the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) for Weta Senior High Technical School (WESTEC) and Wovenu Senior High Technical School (WOSET).

To mitigate the effects of erratic electricity supply, Mr. Agbana has also supplied fully fueled standby generators to all four SHSs in the constituency.

He explained that the intervention was necessary because previous power outages had disrupted ICT practical examinations and negatively affected students’ performance.

In a goodwill message, Mr. Agbana urged candidates to approach the WASSCE with seriousness and determination, reminding them that excellent results could earn them a place on the Edem Agbana Scholarship Scheme for Tertiary Education, which supports brilliant but needy students from the constituency.

Headmasters of the beneficiary schools, who received the items on behalf of their institutions, expressed gratitude to the MP for the gesture and pledged to ensure the laptops and generators were properly used and maintained for the benefit of both current and future students.
