Nanumba South Pupils Get Major Classroom Upgrade

In a heartwarming display of community leadership and commitment to education, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Nanumba South District, Hon. Musah Abdul Rashid, on Monday, 16 February, 2026, received fifty fabricated dual desks donated to Kpayansi D/A Primary School by the revered Chief Yagboughri of the Wulensi Traditional Area, Col. F.A. Natogma.

The presentation ceremony, held at Kpayansi, drew a vibrant crowd of traditional leaders, education officials, assembly members, teachers, pupils, and enthusiastic community members, all united by a shared belief in the power of education.

The furniture was formally presented to the DCE by Mr. Aziz Natogmah, who stood in for Chief Yagboughri. In his remarks, Mr. Natogmah explained that the donation formed part of the Chief's unwavering commitment to improving educational infrastructure and creating a conducive learning environment for children across the district.

He emphasized that quality education begins with providing the basic necessities that support effective teaching and learning, noting that something as simple as a proper desk can transform a child's classroom experience and academic performance.

For the pupils of Kpayansi D/A Primary School, the arrival of the fifty dual desks means an end to the discomfort of sitting on bare floors or sharing cramped spaces, and the beginning of a more dignified and focused learning journey.
