The call was made at a youth sensitisation forum in Nkonya Wurupong to mark the 2026 African Anti-Corruption Day and the Coalition’s 25th anniversary. The event brought together 189 students from three junior high schools.

Biakoye District CHRAJ Director, Larry Doe Klatsi, urged students to reject dishonest practices such as examination malpractice and bribery, stressing that corruption undermines national development and deprives citizens of essential public services.

Facilitators also educated participants on ethical leadership, abuse of office, conflict of interest, whistleblower protection and responsible citizenship.

Meanwhile, NCCE officials, including Elizabeth Wottoumo, encouraged the students to use lawful channels to report suspected corruption and help build a culture of honesty and accountability.
