DCE tour Nsutaman Catholic SHS over fire outbreak
Mr. Kwadwo Banahene Bediako, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Central has visited Nsutaman Catholic Senior High School to inspect the extent of damage caused by fire that destroyed part of the girl’s dormitory on Monday 26th, April.

He was accompanied by staff of the Assembly, Fire service, NADMO, Education Directorate, Ghana Water Company, conveners of works and social services sub-committee of the Assembly and the School's management.
A meeting was held after the inspection and agreed that the affected students should be relocated to a newly constructed block and Students uniform at the school's store should be given to the affected students.
The DCE asked Management of the school to furnish the office of the District Assembly for onward submission to Regional office with copies of learning material the affected students will need.
He added that Counseling session will be provided to the affected students and Ghc2,000 was donated by the Assembly to support the purchase of some basic necessities for the affected students.
Mr. Banahene Bediako appealed to the school authority to help improve security to ensure that students are protected in these difficult times and appealed to Ghana Water Company to ensure regular flow of water to the School.
The works department was therefore tasked to do estimate for renovating the building and the Assembly will support the school to cater for any additional cost of the renovation which is expected to be completed within 3 weeks.
He therefore assured the Assembly support on the emergency measures put in place to help mitigate the effect of the fire outbreak especially on the students.
