Atwima Kwanwoma NADMO Zonal Coordinator installed as Chief

The Zonal Coordinator for the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) at the Atwima Kwanwoma Municipal Assembly, known in private life, as Joseph Osei Tutu has been installed the new Otumfour Sikakuahene Nifahene of Atwima Yabi, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

The Otumfour Sikakuahene Nifahene swore the customary oath to the Otumfour Sikakuahene of Atwima Yabi, Nana Fosu Anin ll, and his elders after he had gone through the necessary customary rites.

Nana Akwasi Poku, Otumfour Sikakuahene Gyasehene, advised the new chief to be diligent in serving the people within his jurisdiction to ensure unity and development.

Nana Akua Konadu, Otumfour Sikakuahene Gyasehenemaa, pleaded with the people of the town to support the new Otumfour Sikakuahene Nifahene in all his endeavours to bring more developmental projects to Atwima Yabi community.

In his address Nana Osei Tutu l, thank the Otumfour Sikakuahene of Atwima Yabi Nana Fosu Anin ll and his elders for the confidence resposed in him.

He assured Otumfour Sikakuahene, elders, and the people to work hard to uplift the good image of Atwima Yabi.

Nana mentioned poor road network, youth unemployment, and lack of educational infrastructures, some of the major challenges facing the area, and promised to tackle them.
