ADANSI A: DCE cuts sod for new school blocks for Adansi Asokwa, Koben
Two communities in the Adansi Asokwa District in the Ashanti Region are being provided with new school blocks to help boost academic activities.

The District Chief Executive of the area, Andrew Adu Boahen performed the sod cutting ceremony to signify official commencement of the projects at the two locations.
The new blocks come with a three-unit classroom block with a toilet facility, staff common room, headteachers office, ICT Laboratory at Adansi Asokwa and Koben respectively.
The DCE briefing the gathering during the ceremony indicated that the project at Adansi Asokwa is aimed at helping to separate two schools which are currently operating as one because of lack of classrooms.
Thus the completion of the new block will reduce congestion and enable the two schools operate as separate entities.
The new block at Koben on the other hand is to replace a dilapidated JHS block to forestall any future misfortune that may arise out of structure collapse.
He promised his continuous support for the education sector in the district to help groom the human resources for the district and the country at large.
Also present to grace the occasion included the Presiding Member of the Assembly, Augustine Adomako, and other assembly members, NPP Party Chairman, Kwame Owusu and other Constituency Executives, as well as chiefs and elders of the communities.
