Bosome Freho Assembly support PWDs
The Bosome Freho District Assembly has presented start-up items worth GHC 36,000.00 through the disability fund of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) to twenty-one (21) physically challenged persons in the District.

The items include chest freezers, sewing machines, cocoa spraying machines, bags of rice, margarine, fufu pounding machine, cartons of milk, packs of Madar Omo, boxes of key soap, assorted drinks, flour and livestock were presented to the beneficiaries based on their needs assessment.
The District Chief Executive Mr. Yaw Danso in his address at a short ceremony to present the items at the forecourt of the Assembly commended the government for living up to its pledges to Ghanaians including meeting the needs of the physically challenged in the society.
He thanked the Social Welfare Department and Community Development for their support and urged them to continue the good work.
Mr. Danso added that the government is committed to making life comfortable for all Ghanaians especially the less privileged in the society.
The DCE further stated that, the presentation should be seen as a move against poverty as it would enable them engage in economic ventures to earn a living for themselves and also advised the recipients not to sell the items out but to put them to better use for the benefits of themselves, their families and the entire community in which they find themselves.
