Rockland farm and meat processing support women in poultry
Rockland Farm and Meat processing company based in Ankamadoa in the Sekyere Central District has provided a total of 1,000 poultry birds to 20 women selected across the District to begin their adventure into Poultry farming.

Rockland Farms, a female-led Ghanaian business is aimed at supporting the inclusion of women the production of poultry (chicken).
The CEO of the company, Mrs. Edith Akosah Wheatland called on poultry farmers to collaborate to ensure they receive such help, and by doing so create more jobs to boost the country’s economy.
The company through the C.E.O also adopted 10 Schools in the Sekyere Central District with total enrollment of 3,470 and supplied them with free eggs every month as part of the company's Corporate Social responsibility.
The District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Benjamin Kingsley Koduah expressed his appreciation to the C.E.O for her continual support and called on other Private businesses to emulate the exemplary benevolence of Rockland farm and Meat processing.
