Ignore NDC-NPP
I hope all these promises about the development of the north is not cheap political talk to win votes. Why is the NPP not telling the people how many of the promises made during the campagning for the 2004 election have in fact been fulfilled? My point is that Ghanaian politicians have got to start relating to the electorate in a more mature and straight forward manner by for for example:(1) Indicating which election promises have been met.(2) Indicating which election promises have NOT been met and WHY . (3) Indicating HOW and WHEN the failure(s) in delivery will be fixed.(4) Showing HOW and WHEN the current promises will be delivered. Who ever wins the elections on Dec 7 will have a moral and political duty to deliver the promises made during their campaigns irrespective of whether or not they won in the North. Trust can not be won by empthy promises. Trust will certainly not be won by half hearted attempts at delivering on promises made.
