EFFUTU: Benyiwa-Doe commissions new CHPS compound

The out-going Central Regional Minister, Ama Benyiwa-Doe has commissioned an ultra-modern  Community Health Planning Service (CHPs) compound at Winneba in the Effutu Municipality.

 Mrs. Benyiwa-Doe in a short speech louded governement for the project adding that the facility was aimed at bringing quality health care closer to the ordinary Ghanaian hence urged residents in the area to patronize the facility.

He also tasked health workers to discharge their duties in a professionally manner to save lives in the area.

The Chief Executive for the Municipality, Nii Ephraim noted that more of such projects had been completed by his outfit in the past few years, adding that the construction of two additional health centers had been awarded on contract with work expected to commence in the shortest possible time.

Meanwhile, the project was constructed ata cost of about GHc 80,000.00 with funds secured from the Central Regional Development Commission (CEDECOM).
