ABURA: Tuakwa community gets new CHPs compound

The Abura Asebu Kwamankese District Assembly with support from the Japanese government has constructed an ultra modern Community Health Planning service (CHPs) compound at Tuakwa, a suburb community in the district.
The specifically aimed at bringing quality health delivery to the door-steps of residence in the area and further halt the situation whereby patient are carried for long distances to other nearby communities with health centers.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the District Chief Executive noted that the project which started some few started years back was left abandoned due to lack of funds, adding that works continued on the project after the assembly secured funding from the Japan government.
He said similar of such projects had been completed in various parts of the district to improve health delivery in the area.
Meanwhile, the DCE further noted that with finance from the District Assembly’s Common Fund (DACF) his outfit is working assiduously on the 15 kilometer Abohin-Aboka and the Intron-Ahonsie roads to enhance transportation in the area.
