BOLGA:‘Car port business’ to take-off soon

The Bolgatanga municipal assembly in partnership with Umarib Ghana, a private investor in the Upper East region will likely operationalize this year its ‘car port business’ meant to relatively bring an ease in the system and also check indiscriminate parking of vehicles in the municipality.
The move has seriously taken a new level with its implementation this year, as the investors have been able to finish the construction of the car port within the commercial area of Bolgatanga where vehicles will park for a fee.
Mr. Edward Ayiriba Ayagle in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com stressed that the venture which was considered for the past 2-3 years and being pushed by the Assembly in conjunction with Umarib will apparently see light this year.
He said both parties have also resolved some of the hiccups and issues which had confronted the implementation of the project in the area, adding that the move has now settled down and would possibly be accomplished shortly.
The venture is however in line with the Assembly’s mandate to push the growth of the area and accelerate total development of the municipality.
