All uncompleted projects across board in all the sectors which were under implementation last year in the Kassena Nankana West district are seriously being prosecuted currently to ensure their accomplishment in the shortest possible time, District Chief Executive, Mr. Thomas Dalu Addah has revealed.
Although the Assembly has not yet considered rolling out new projects under the phase two of the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) “Better Ghana” agenda, it has made clear its intention to finish every project which was billed and started in the last four years.
Mr. Dalu Addah interacting with Ghanadistricts.com to highlight the state of affairs currently at the district, he said the Assembly was taking progress of the barrage of uncompleted projects in the past, such as the first 10 beneficiary communities earmarked for the Rural Electrification Project (REP) in the area.
He further noted that there was an impending stakeholder’s review meeting on the REP which had been arranged to come-off very soon to deliberate on how best to push the ongoing project in the district.
The REP is one of the key social programmes under the energy sector captured by the NDC government through the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development.
