The main developmental focus for the Asuogyaman District Assembly this year would be among other things the construction of facilities that would enhance security in the district.

Among these facilities include District Police Headquarters and Divisional office, Fire Service Office and a licensing office all at Senchi.

The choice for Senchi according to the District Chief Executive, Johnson Ahiakpor is to serve as a link to Atimpoku one of the commercial towns in the district.

He indicated that for sometime now, both the police divisional office and the fire service operated from the same office even though the place is not spacious enough.

Assembly hopes to devote its share of the District Development Fund (DDF) and the common fund to finance the projects, he stated.
