 | | | Laptop | |
580 laptop computers have been distributed to some selected schools in the Agona West Municipality in the Central Region to help improve the teaching and learning of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in the area.
The programme also forms part of government’s continues effort to promote ICT especially at the basic education level.
Chief Executive for Agona West Municipal Assembly, Mr. Samuel Oppong, at a presentation ceremony, noted that the initiative is in accordance with the ruling National Democratic Congress’ “Better Ghana” agenda which partially seeks to enhance ICT training in every part of the country.
He however cautioned students to take advantage over what has been presented to them and hope it would improve the performance of students in the area.
