The Asuogyaman District Assembly, like many other assemblies is embarking on a mob-up exercise to complete ongoing projects, Chief Executive, Johnson Ahiakpor has disclosed.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Ahiakpor expressed delight at the achievements of the last four years where development was taken to all corners of the district including very remote areas. However, the DCE said the assembly is concerned about some communities including Porportia, Pupuni/Tortibo among others where electricity was extended but are yet to be connected to the national grid.

To this end, the DCE said all efforts are being made to ensure speedy completion of those electrification projects as soon as possible so that the beneficiary communities would derive the full benefit from it.

Meanwhile, some communities have also been targeted to be provided with boreholes to relieve them of challenges with potable water.
