It appears the Ketu North District assembly would not slow down any time soon in its efforts to address the development challenges confronting its citizens.
Even before the government gets full complement of its ministers to hit the ground running, the Ketu North Asembly has awarded eleven new projects on contract which are expected to commence soon.
Among the projects include the construction of a Community Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds at Sovie.
The facility which would provide primary health care services to the inhabitants in the area would have a consulting room, delivery room, office, a small ward and sanitary facilities.
Attached to the CHPS compound would be a 3-bedroom nurses’ quarters to ensure easy access to health personnel.
To address water challenges, the assembly also intends to drill a borehole for the facility among other important basic facilities like electricity.
In a related development, the assembly is extending electricity to the Dekpor CHPS compound all in an effort to improving health accessibility to all.
