EFFUTU: Japanese gov’t to construct dormitory for Winneba SHS

Due to accommodation deficit problems facing the school, the Japanese Government is in the process of funding the construction of a 13-room dormitory block for the Winneba Senior High School (SHS).
The projeci which is under the Japanese Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGHSP) scheme is expected to accommodate about 160 students in the school.
Noato Nikai, Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, confirming the story said the block which will have sanitary facilities as well for the comfortability of the students is estimated at $235,400.
Winneba Senior High School was established in 1949 and located in the Effutu Municipality in the Central Region.
