SISSALA E:More health/education projects to commence soon

Efforts are still being made to increase primary health facilities in the Sissala East district, as two additional Community Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) facility projects have recently been awarded on contract to be established in two deprived communities in the area.
This is to ensure an improvement in the health challenges of inhabitants of the beneficiary communities as the move will assist the Assembly have a far reaching platform to deal with the key health concerns of inhabitants in these areas.
The communities considered under this move by the Assembly are Yigantu and Sentie all suburbs of the district.
Government in the last four years has been creating accessibility to health facilities especially in the hinterlands and deprived areas of the country to give meaning to the “Better Ghana” agenda programme being advanced in the country.
Meanwhile in education, the Assembly is to construct about three classroom blocks with ancillary facilities like stores, office and staff common room for school children at Sumboru, Bamboi and Dagbasu respectively.
The project has just been awarded on contract and all things being equal will commence shortly to open up the limited school structures in the three areas.
