KEEA: Dr. Annan donates food items to health facilities

Dr. Joseph Annan, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industries, on Tuesday donated GHc7, 500 worth of food items to some health institutions in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem constituency.

The donation that comprised of rice, cooking oil and mackerel, was presented by Mr. Kofi Ebu, a Special Assistant at the Ministry, on behalf of Dr. Annan.

Mr. Ebu said the donation was Dr. Annan’s Christmas gift to inmates of Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital and Kissi, Agona Abrem and Elmina health centres.

Mr. Ebenezer AbakaSey, Director of Nursing Services, thanked Dr. Annan for the gesture, and appealed to individuals and organisation to emulate the Deputy Minister for the donation.
