TARKWA: More schools receive laptops

The Tarkwa Nsueam Assembly has distributed 360 laptops to fifteen selected Junior High Schools within its constituency.
Presenting 24 pieces of laptops to each of the beneficiary schools at their respective communities, the Municipal Chief Executive, Mrs Christina Kobinah, said the donation is in fulfillment of the promise made by the National Democratic Congress government to improve the education sector.
She said the facility should be used to set up an Information Communication Technology (ICT) center for the various schools to help the students improve upon their knowledge on computing at the basic level.
Mrs Kobinah appealed to authorities of the schools to manage the facilities effectively to ensure that the students attain the optimum benefit
The Headmistress of Brahabebome D/A Complex School, Mrs Margret Konadu, expressed her gratitude to the government and MCE for their contribution towards improving education in the area.
