TMA: Ofosu Ampofo says he is satisfied with work on Tema Hospital Mortuary project

Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, on Tuesday expressed satisfaction at progress of work on the Tema General Hospital Mortuary.

This was soon after he donated drugs and other medical items to the hospital.

Accompanied by Mr Robert Kempes Papa Nii Ofosuware, Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive, Mr Ofosu-Ampofo said because of the satisfactory work the contractor had done the last tranche of funds for the project would be released to him to enable him finish the work on schedule.

Mr Ofosu-Ampofo visited the Hospital last year and said the mortuary did not befit the status of a General Hospital and directed the Tema Metropolitan Assembly to build a new one.
