KPANDAI:DCE appeals to electorates to comport themselves in elections

The District Chief Executive for the Kpandai District Assembly, Jasper Jatoh Moayi has appealed to electorates in the district to comport themselves and ‘play by the rules of the game’ as they go to exercise their franchise on Friday.
He said it was important for the country to preserve the democratic credentials earned in the African-sub region, and eschew any form of acts that will frustrate the 2012 general elections.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the DCE stressed that “we can’t afford to take the elections for granted therefore we’ve put everything in place to safeguard the elections in the district”.
He said an election task force has already been deployed in the system to ensure a violent free election in the area.
He also claimed that the system is well set for the take off of the elections on Friday, noting that the Assembly has supported greatly with the provision of some logistics to enhance the exercise.
