ELLEMBELE: Ngalekyi teacher’s quarters commissioned

As part of efforts to improve the living conditions of teachers in the area, the Ellembele District Assembly has completed and commissioned a new modern teacher’s quarters’ facility at Ngalekyi, a subsurb community in the district.

The facility is however expected to go a long way to improve education as the situation whereby teachers posted to the area out of frustration seek immediate transfer as a result of poor accommodation requirements will halt.

District Chief Executive, Daniel Kermanbetu Eshun who made this to Ghanadistricts.com, noted that the project however secured funding from the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF), adding similar projects had been completed and currently in use in other parts of the district.

Still on education, work is seriously ongoing on a new 12 unit dormitory block for student at the Bonzo Kaku Senior High School (BOKASS) in the district also to improve students’ accommodation in the school.

However, work had reached an appreciable level when Ghanadistricts.com visited the project site to have a firsthand look at the extent of work done on the said facility.
