BOLGA:MCE urges electorates to retain incumbent MP

Mr. Edward Ayiriba Ayagle, the MCE for Bolgatanga Municipal says the incumbent Member of Parliament(MP) for Bolga Central, Opam-Brown Akolbire is the best choice to represent the area in parliament due to his track records over the years.

He explained he has faith in him to advance the “Better Ghana “agenda and support the constituency achieve a lot more with regards to development projects if he is allowed another term in parliament as the MP for the area.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Ayagle intimated that there have been some remarkable developmental gains during the MP’s tenure in office, recounting on the about 12 new GETfund projects which have been secured as a result of his lobbying skills.

He said under health, the MP also assisted greatly to establish 3-5 Community Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) centre, which has contributed to improve accessibility to primary healthcare delivery in the deprived areas.

 

He also noted that the district’s water system has received a boost because of his efforts which played a major role in opening up the system for expansion in quality water delivery.

He added that this has created the opportunity for people to get sustainable water supply without any difficulties.

The MCE also reiterated that he was so much enthused by the NDC candidate’s promise to support women who were engaged in Basket weaving activities in the area when is retained as the MP.

He believed this would assist grow the local and small business initiatives and improve the local economy in the district.

For him re-electing Mr. Opam Akolbire again as the MP for the Bolga Central constituency will mean a mandate for him to carry on the good works and the massive development which he collaborated with the Assembly to bring to the people.
