KWABRE E: Assembly spends GH˘113,000.00 on disabled

326 persons living with disability in the Kwabre East District in the Ashanti Region has over the past few years been supported by the Assembly up to  a tune of GH¢113,000.00 to enable them undergo training in various vocations.

This was revealed by the District Chief Executive for the area, Mr. Adams Iddisah when he was addressing the5th anniversary celebration of the district branch of the Federation of the Disabled at Mamponteng on the theme “Promoting peace during the 2012 elections – the role of persons with disabilities”.

He said part of the money was used to set up some ventures for them inorder to boost their economic lives.
