SUHUM: 23,723 school furniture distributed

The Suhum Municipal Assembly has distributed about 23,723 furniture as well as free exercise books, uniforms to school children in the area.

Aside this, the school feeding programme has been extended to capture more schools to also benefit from the scheme.

Still in education, the Assembly has constructed and completed an additional 30 new classroom blocks, bringing the total of school infrastructure since 2009 to 35.

In health, communities such as Akoto, Kwaboanta, Marfokrom and Sra have all benefited from rehabilitation to construction of health centres and CHPS compounds under the health sector of the Assembly’s programme.

All these were part of projects the Suhum Municipality Assembly has initiated since 2009.
