ATIWA: Assembly takes delivery of new Ambulance
Work is almost completed on an eigth unit girls’ dormitory block for the Kwabeng Anglican Senior High School in the Atiwa District in the Eastern Region to enhance the school’s infrastructure deficit.
The Ghana Education Service funded project is about ninety percent completed with only few works left to be done.
In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Chief Executive for the assembly Emmanuel Atta Twum, however noted that the project was suppose to have been completed before the 2012/2013 batch of student are admitted but noted with regrets that the project had to delay due to a minor technical problem.
Meanwhile, the DCE indicated that the contractor had assured him of its completion before January, 2013 to ensure its intended purpose of construction.
In other developments, the DCE further revealed that the district has also taken delivery of a brand new Ambulance vehicle from the Ghana National Ambulance Service to assist health official carry out their duty in case of emergencies.
