PRESTEA: New toilet facilities for Yareyeya, Aboso communities

Residents of Yareyeya and Aboso in the Prestea Huni Valley District have been provided with 16 and 20 seater Water Closet toilet facilities respectively to enhance sanitation in the areas.
The projects were specially designed by the assembly under the “Better Ghana” agenda programme to ensure that deprived communities in the district are provided with toilet facilities to avoid the spread of diseases such as typhoid and cholera.
Ghanadistricts.com can boldly confirm that indicates that the facilities are duly completed are currently in use to ensure its intended purpose.
In other developments, pupils of Entowada Primary School have also benefited from a 3 unit classroom block with ancillary facilities to improve teaching and learning in the area.
However, according to the District Chief Executive, Robert Wisdom Cudjoe, similar projects had also been completed in some selected communities as part of the assembly’s effort to improve especially basic education in the area.
