BUNKPURUGU Y:New radio station established to spearhead development

The NDC parliamentary aspirant for the Bunkpurugu Yunyoo constituency seat, Duut Bonchel Abdulai has called on electorates in the area to vote and retain the NDC government in power for the party to carry on its massive development programmes and projects in the district.
Mr. Duut Abdulai made the call during a short ceremony that preceded the maiden test transmission of a newly established local radio station branded LOM FM in the district.
The Parliamentary candidate amidst other Technical team from Accra commended the DCE and the government of Ghana for the establishment of such an important and educative facility in the area.
For Mr. Philip Laari, DCE for the area, the core and challenging aspect of the whole project had been duly fulfilled which was the earnest move for the establishment of this august project, however he noted that the next step will be to invite the National Communication Authority (NCA) to come and inspect the facility so it could get a full right to begin special programmes on the airwaves.
He was most grateful to NCA for the quick release of the radio frequency which is 94.7 FM, adding that the FM station will serve the interest of the entire people of the district no matter their party affiliation or where one comes from.
