E JUABEN: Atia Assemblyman appeals for completion of abandoned health centre

The Assemblyman for Atia Electoral Area in the Ejisu Juaben Municipality, Mr. Joseph Opoku Mensah is appealing to government and benevolent  organizations to come to their aid to complete an abandodned health centre for them.

He said the community funded the project about six years ago but due to lack of funds to complete it, it was abandoned and all efforts to complete it had proved futile.

 “The project currently is at the window level,” he added.

Lamenting on the issue to Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Mensah said most of the areas surrounding the town had no such facility; a situation he said affected them negatively.

He believes the completion of the project would provide an alternative for their health needs to be solved.
