Asunafo North:  MP handsover new OPD at MIM health centre
The Member of Parliament for Asunafo North Constituency Hon. Robert Sarfo-Mensah has handed a newly constructed Out-Patient Department (OPD) for the Mim Urban Health Center.

Financed through the MP’s share of the National Health Insurance Authority Fund the Ghs63, 000 OPD complex has a laboratory, dispensary, store room, toilet and bath facilities, and a bedroom self-contained for a staff.

Handing over the facility, Hon. Mensah noted that execution of projects was a responsibility of the district assembly but due to imbalances and inequities in our political system, MPs were also given some funds to undertake other projects to balance the situation some how.

He however advised the people to put the facility to proper use.

The Administrator of the Goaso Municipal Hospital, Mr. Namiak Sampson Konja, who represented the Municipal Health Director of Asunafo, commended the Member of Parliament for the timely intervention of the provision of the Complex saying the facility will ease congestion and  and help reduce pressure on staff, at both the Mim Urban Health Center and the Goaso Municipal Hospital, which serves as a referral center in the Municipality.
