C TONGU:Global Evangelical Primary obtains standard school block

The factor of ‘quality and accessibility’ still remains a hallmark for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government when it comes to improving the standard of education in the country.
Due to this, the government has for almost four year period of its administration increased efforts in securing dignified and modern school structures which could assist enhance teaching and learning activities in schools especially those in the deprived areas.
The Global Evangelical Primary school located at Adidome in the Central Tongu district is reported to be one of the beneficiary basic schools under the district which has recently acquired a new 6 unit classroom block with ancillary facilities to improve quality education in the district, Alhaji Bubbey Dzinadu, the DCE for the area has disclosed.
Alhaji Dzinadu made this known in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com.
He said the project was captured under the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETfund) and has duly been completed and handed over to the school.
He claimed the school that used to conduct teaching and learning under some makeshift sheds which could not even withstand bad weather will now get the opportunity to study in an enhanced environment.
