TMA: Ofosu-Ampofo donates to Sakumono basic schools

The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has donated assorted items to a number of schools at Sakumono in the Tema Metropolitan Assembly.

Some of the schools like Sakumono Roman Catholic Primary and Junior High, Sakumono School Complex and the Sakumono TMA Primary 1 and 2 received items such as dustbins, hand-washing items, footballs and jerseys among other things to some public schools within the area.

Donating the items, the minister reiterated the NDC government’s plans of improving on the educational infrastructure to enhance teaching and learning within the country.

Mr. Ofosu Ampofo seized the opportunity to introduce himself to the teachers as the NDC parliamentary aspirant for Tema West and therefore solicited for their support.

He assured the constituents that, when given the mandate, he would bring some changes in the leadership dynamics of the constituency by championing their course to better their lot.

The heads of the beneficiary schools thanked the parliamentary candidate for the wonderful gesture and promised to put the items to good use.
