AJUMAKO: Electricity extension works kick-start in 15 communities

An electricity extension project has began in about fifteen communities in the Ajumako/ Enyan/ Essiam District in the Central Region to improve socio-economic activities in the area.
Confirming this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the District Chief Executive, Peter Light Koomson however stressed that the assembly had through its own share of the District Assembly’s Common Fund (DACF) provided adequate funds to ensure that the project is timely and properly executed.
He noted work had already started in some beneficiary towns such as Essiam, Denkyira, Ajumako and Abassa among other communities within the district.
Mr. Light Koomson further revealed that the project also forms part of the ruling National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) “Better Ghana” agenda initiative which seeks to improvement in the standard of living of the ordinary Ghanaian Citizenry.
He however expressed hope that the project was going to completed within the stipulated time of completion.
