GA S: Office for Weija Zonal Coucil underway

Construction of an office for the Weija Zonal Council is currently ongoing in the Ga South Municipality.

The council among other things will assist the Assembly in mobilising local resources as well as managing environmental issues in the zone on behalf of the Ga South Municipal Assembly.

It will also help monitor the implementation of development projects in the various electoral areas.

The Assemblyman for the Weija Electoral Area, Kwasi Logosu Mensah  who hinted Ghanadistricts.com of the project said the contractor is currently onsite to see to it for the timely completion of the project.

He said the building is situated at a strategic location in the area to enhance the mobility of the zonal councilors in an around the area.
