TANO N: Meat shop provided at Yamfo

The meat shop

In a bid to provide safe and consumable meat to residents in the area, the Tano North District Assembly has constructed a new meat shop at Yamfo, a popular town within the District.

The project was provided as a result of various calls made by residents over the years to stakeholders and the district assembly to provide them with such facilities since they were deprived of some, but to no avail.

For this reason, the Tano North District Assembly under the able leadership of the DCE, Apraku Lartey since the NDC took over the administration of the country in 2009 initiated the project with the aim of providing an avenue where safe meats are sold to residents and to also transform the economic lifes of operators of the shop.

The project is part of the Better Ghana Agenda by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) which promises to improve the fortunes of many Ghanaians.
