ELLEMBELE: small town water system facility for Aiyinase community

Residents of Aiyinase, a subsurb community in the Ellembelle District in the Western Region have been provided with a small town water system facility to improve water supply in the area and its surrounding communities.
The project which was constructed with funding from the International Development Association (IDA) is expected to serve as a major boost of ensuring potable water supply in some parts of the district.
The Chief Executive for the assembly, Mr. Daniel Kermanbetu Eshun, said the move forms part of his outfit’s efforts to ensure the distribution of potable water in every corner of the district so as to decrease the prevalence of water-borne diseases in the area.
He however expressed gratitude to the IDA for the support and call for more of such assistance to enable the assembly execute more of such projects in the district.
In other development, a new toilet facility has also been completed at Asasetre Market to enhance sanitation conditions in the area.
