L M KROBO:Phase II of Agormanya Market to start soon
|Lockable stores|| |
The Lower Manya Krobo District has awarded contract for the construction of 32 lockable stores as the second phase of the Agormanya Market redevelopment project.
This follows the successful completion of the first phase of 190 market sheds and 16 stores.
Municipal Chief Executive, Isaac Agbo-Tetteh who expressed delight at the project noted that improving the economic fortunes of the people in the municipality remains high on their agenda. He said it is not for noting that the assembly has reserved a chunk of its District Development Facility (DDF) for the project but their commitment to boosting economic activities.
The Lower Manya Krobo Municipality is an agrarian society which requires market centres to ensure farmers and other businessmen have a place to sell and buy farm produce.
Mr. Agbo-Tetteh indicated that they hope the second phase of the redevelopment project would also progress without any difficulty.
